Henry Gruver and his beloved family taught us how to “prayer walk”. Henry Gruver and Gwen Shaw in her book, Redeeming the Land continue to teach us how to cleanse our land from these five defilements: 

1) the shedding of innocent blood

2) idolatry

3) sexual immorality

4) witchcraft

5) the breaking of covenant

Revelation 12:10-12 “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now is come salvation (includes freedom, deliverance, liberty, prosperity, safety and victory) and strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ (the Anointed One and His Anointing): for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused us day and night. And we overcame by the blood of the Lamb, and the word of our testimony, and we loved not our lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhibiters of the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he has but a short time.”

First John 3:8 “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. FOR THIS PURPOSE THE SON OF GOD WAS MANIFESTED, THAT HE MIGHT DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL.” 

The rhema of First John 3:8 is: And for this purpose, the sons of God are being manifested, that we too might destroy the works of the devil.

First John 3:2-3 “ Beloved, NOW, NOW,  are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we knoweth that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope in Him, purifieth himself even as He is pure.”

Revelation 12:10-12, First John 3:8, and First John 3:2-3 are the FIRST words said out loud upon awakening each day.  This is an effective warfare strategy setting the day’s tone for victory.
